About the event

This interactive session is designed for anyone interested in exploring loneliness and connection through creative expression. Using Image Theater, a technique developed by Augusto Boal, along with storytelling and movement-based exercises, participants will:

  • Examine the difference between loneliness and being alone – When is solitude a choice, and when does it feel like disconnection?

  • Explore why we feel lonely – What causes loneliness, and how does it show up in our lives?

  • Use Image Theater to express and reshape experiences of loneliness – Engaging the body and imagination to explore new perspectives.

  • Practice self-advocacy – How can we express our needs and seek support?

  • Discover creative tools for connection – Finding ways to engage with emotions and build meaningful relationships.
